this week sees the deadline to submit your abstract for the 2012 Polis Conference, 29-30 November in Perugia! We highly encourage all members to submit an abstract: It provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your transport achievements to a large European audience!

Rio+20 on sustainable development is taking place this week. Receive timely updates on important events, conferences and initiatives such as this week's European Sustainable Energy Week through Twitter: Visit @POLISnetwork with or without your own account!

Polis presented position paper on active travel at Healthy Cities symposium in Dresden

Last week, Polis presented its activities on transport and health at the 10th anniversary of Germany’s Healthy Cities network in Dresden. Participants from local and regional health authorities recognised the close link between the sectors and the need for joint action to secure the health benefits of walking and cycling.
