Editorial

Dear members,

Spring is a vibrant time of the year, and last week was no exception when two major transport conferences were held: ECOMM on mobility management took place in Maastricht, while the International Transport Forum's (ITF) Annual Summit was held in Leipzig.

Polis hosted an Open Stage Café session on urban mobility innovation at ITF: The innovation support tools and planning instruments presented and the good practice examples from Polis members in key urban transport innovation areas met with great interest from the participants. Some expressed the wish to see Polis reach out with our experiences to cities in other regions of the world as well as share our innovation methodologies with the logistics sector.

We also launched the 8th edition of Thinking Cities last week, the urban transport innovation magazine jointly published by Polis and H3B media. This new issue was available for delegates of both aforementioned conferences and looks at the notion of change in the city, and how to achieve it. Read more below.
