Editorial

Dear members,

Several articles in this newsletter feature the topic of active travel and health, which Polis has been promoting widely together with you over the last years, through projects such as PASTA and SWITCH, our strategic partnership with UNECE's Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme (THE PEP) and the World Health Organisation, as well as in our meetings of the Environment & Health working group. We're very proud to host a side event on this topic at the International Transport Forum summit in Leipzig. Polis member Sustrans has also just issued a very interesting report on the topic. Read all about it in this InfoPolis!

Don't miss the opportunity to join the Flemish Summer School on road safety or the ITS tour in Helmond, one of our forerunner cities in the field. Both initiatives offer excellent opportunities for hands-on capacity building and peer-to-peer learning. More information in this InfoPolis.

We wish you a pleasant read!

Kind regards,
